Planned Giving
A Lasting Legacy for the Next Generation: The 1888 Society
Bequests, charitable trusts, gift annuities, and other planned giving arrangements continue to bolster the School’s financial sustainability and have great bearing on every aspect of the work and future of Latin.
Since its founding in 1888, Latin has provided its students with an unparalleled education rooted in excellence and passion. This one-of-a-kind education has only been possible because of the generosity of our donors.
As we look to the future of our school, legacy gifts through your will or trust is one of the best ways to safeguard our school and to support students for years to come.
As cherished parents, alumni, and friends of the Latin community, your values resonate deeply with the School’s mission. Through your generous philanthropy, you have the power to create a profound and lasting impact. Together, we can inspire future generations to dream big.
We invite you to invest in an education that changes lives. Forever.
“My husband and I have chosen to make a future gift and join the 1888 Society because we want to make sure that Latin remains financially strong for generations to come. We see this gift as a way to give back, since so many people helped make it possible for our children to have the world-class education they received at Latin.”
– Angela Dago
Setting up your Planned Gift
If you aren't sure where to begin the process of setting up a planned gift, here are some resources to get you started. We can also give you language if you’re interested in making a residual bequest (the “leftovers” of your estate) or a contingent gift (where Latin only gets the gift if certain circumstances occur.)
