This off-site camp provides campers with daily adventures navigating and exploring the city of Chicago and surrounding areas. Camp Trekker is based at The Latin School, and campers will visit favorite Chicagoland attractions and hidden city treasures, including lunch at a local destination. Campers learn to plan and begin to traverse Chicago, often using public transportation.
Special field trips and visits to pools and water parks are included. Each camper will be provided a Ventra card for use during their camp session. Trekkers travel in small groups for ease of traversing the City. A maximum 1:6 counselor to camper ratio will be maintained in each group.
