Parent Association

The PA is a parent-led organization whose mission is to build community through activities and volunteer programs that enhance the educational and social experience at Latin.

Every parent/guardian is automatically a member of the PA.

There are a variety of ways to get involved in our programs, whether on a one-time basis or a year-long commitment.

The PA strives to represent the parent/guardian voice through partnerships with the administration, the Board of Trustees, and the broader school community.

Build community and parent/guardian connections

• Plan grade-level social gatherings for adults and families
   
• Organize community service opportunities
   
• Welcome new families with meet-ups and buddy outreach
• Arrange Parent-Guardian Affinity Groups
   
• Host the Latin Around the World event
   
• Offer adult educational programs through Latin Learners+

Foster school spirit and pride

• Support student programs such as sports, fine arts and clubs
   
• Decorate the school for special events throughout the year
   
• Create seasonal teacher and staff appreciation gifts
   
• Run the Spirit Shop

Supports Latin Events

• Partners with Athletics to bring the spirt
   
• Organizes Book Fair, Storytime and other activities

There are many ways to get involved with the PA! Our success relies on volunteers, regardless of whether they can give an hour or commit to a larger role. Please consider signing up to help the PA support our kids and the Latin community.

Hourly Role Examples:

• Work a booth at Romans Fest
• Work a shift at the Book Fair

Support Role Examples:

• Serve as the team coordinator for your child’s sport
• Work with the Spirit Team to paint and decorate for events

Leadership Roles:

• Become a Grade Chair for your student’s grade
• Join one of our many committees
