![]() Dear Families, Faculty, Staff and Trustees,
Earlier this week, in anticipation of the verdict in the Rittenhouse trial, Latin's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team shared division specific resources with faculty to support them in being responsive to student questions and needs. We would like to share some resources with you to offer support as you navigate these conversations with your family. We remain committed to our work around difficult dialogues, creating educational opportunities around equity and social justice, and being responsive to student needs.
As the reactions and conversations around this trial and that of the murder of Ahmaud Arbery unfold, we will continue to create space for students to reflect and seek understanding. Counseling staff in all divisions are available to answer questions and meet with students as they process these events and their impact--direct or indirect. As always, we are committed to the well-being of all of our students and understand that national events can leave a lasting impact on our community members.
