Quarter 1 (July-October)

1. Conducted workshops/trainings on Portrait of a Latin Learner (PoLL) as part of Opening Days and division meetings.
2. Asked all teachers and teaching teams to examine units of study with respect to PoLL competencies.
3. Presented a parent/guardian State of School address from the Head of School and Assistant Head of School, which included this year’s goals around both LEAD and PoLL.
4. Held Division Director coffees that addressed a variety of curricular and co-curricular programming.
5. Completed faculty and administrator goal-setting which, for many, included PoLL framework components.
6. Reviewed Lower School progress reporting to include curriculum alignment from one grade to the next.
7. Incorporated questions related to the PoLL as part of admissions interviews in the Middle School and Upper School.

​​Quarter 2 (November-December)

1. Added core, marquee, and anticipated programming for the next three years to our planning framework. This programming, which is aligned to our focus on sustainability, will be presented to the Board for further deliberation during its February retreat.
2. Continued to focus on Portrait of a Latin Learner (PoLL) competencies in our daily instructional and assessment practices.
3. Utilized the implementation of PoLL to anchor our ISACS accreditation planning process.
4. Began developing a seasonal staff evaluation for Latin 360° that is based on the PoLL pillars.

Quarter 3 (January-February)

1. Created a Student Support Plan framework and process to include teacher input.
2. Presented school-wide marquee programs to the Board of Trustees.
3. Developed a strategy for conducting a collective review and working across divisions.
4. Curated a working group within the LEAD team to move the cross divisional work forward.

Quarter 4 (March-May)

1. Articulated and inventoried academic programming for Curious Explorers across the curriculum for grades JK-12. 
2. Identified where PoLL intersects with SEL and Learning for Justice standards.
3. Created and are actively recruiting for a Director of Student Health and Wellness position to broadly oversee our mental health, SEL, character development, and affective education programming initiatives.
4. Updated core, marquee, and anticipated programming for the next three years as part of sustainability planning.
5. Continued work by Upper School department chairs and division director on connecting PoLL goals into observations and the new faculty evaluation tool.

Quarter 1 (September-October)

1. Set LEAD goals by all departments and divisions via the senior administration team.
2. Established individualized metrics for all LEAD goals set by the senior administration team.
3. Set Board of Trustee goals that align with the strategic vision of LEAD and other school priorities.
4. Finalized Portrait of a Learner work feedback phase and established the core competencies for students.
5. Restored co-curricular activities and sports to pre-pandemic levels and higher, including clubs, athletics, service, performing arts.
6. Expanded clubs and affinity groups across the School. 
7. Launched Canvas as the Learning Management System for the MS and US, allowing consistency and alignment across divisions. 

Quarter 2 (November-December)

1. Established individualized metrics for all LEAD goals set by the senior administration team. We are reporting these out on a quarterly basis. The second quarterly update has just been released.
2. Finalized Core competencies of the Portrait of the Latin Learner. The roll-out has been scheduled, with a January meeting planned between the Portrait of Learner Committee and Co-Curricular Board Task Force. 
3. Planned and released schedule for Summer@Latin courses and camps, including reinstating the rising JK day camp program.
4. Held a Latin Learners+ Program for parents/guardians about year one of DEI curriculum review.
5. Began implementation of a new Lower School social-emotional learning curriculum that is consistent in language and approach among all teachers and students.
6. Completed curriculum roll out and parent education for The Social Institute, Social Media Education program.

Quarter 3 (January-March)

1. Implemented the Portrait of a Latin Learner formally with faculty and the broader community.
2. Held the February In-Service Day for faculty and staff to formalize and provide professional development on the Portrait of a Latin Learner.
3. Worked with the Academic Council focus groups on qualitative data collected from the Student Academic Board on rigor and excellence.

Quarter 4 (April-May)

1. Athletics hosted a Positive Coaching Alliance Workshop for all coaches.
2. Final recommendations were made to the Board of Trustees from three-years worth of work completed by the Co-Curricular Task Force.
3. The Middle School implemented a new end-of-year awards process that included Portrait of a Latin Learner competencies.
4. The sixth grade team framed the spring student-led family conferences utilizing Portrait of a Latin Learner competencies.
5. The Middle School rolled out a successful first year partnership with The Social Institute's Win at Social, implementing social media literacy into the homeroom and Affective Ed classes.
