Overall Record: 8-12
ISL Record/Place: 5-1/1st

The varsity team had one of the finest years in school history. They finished with a 13-7 dual record and a 6-0 record in the ISL. All three of the doubles teams played in the championship finals at the ISL tournament, bringing a 1st place team finish and putting the Romans in 1st place overall. The girls also tied for 1st in the sectional tournament, sending first singles and first doubles teams to the State Tournament. Alessandra Bianco '18 took 2nd place in State and the doubles team of Maya Seymore '18 and Eleanor Ruscitti '17 took 6th place in State. Together, the three State players brought the team a 3rd place finish in the State Tournament.

The JV team won seven out of ten matches overall and won every ISL match this year. On top of the successful record, the team received a lot of compliments on how sportsmanlike they were throughout the year from other schools. The team is also very young, and all the girls have the potential to grow into outstanding tennis players over the next few years.
