At Latin, learning does not begin and end in the classroom. As part of its mission to educate students to lead lives of purpose and excellence, the School seeks to offer as many outside learning experiences as possible.
We encourage our students to strike a balance between striving for academic excellence and discovering their interests beyond the classroom. Our students
work hard, but they also are deeply involved in the numerous extracurricular options that are available to them.
As early as the Lower School students can be active in Superstars sports teams, clubs, after school programs, and musical and dramatic performances during grade-level assemblies.
In the Middle and Upper Schools there are endless ways that students can explore their individual interests. In addition to playing on high caliber athletic
teams, our students participate in the performing and visual arts, service learning, student government, clubs, and student publications.
Project Week, one of the highlights of the Middle and Upper School years, is an opportunity
for students to spend a week supplementing their learning outside the classroom by studying something different at Latin, or traveling throughout the city, nation, and world.
