This year’s Advanced Acting features two one act plays: ACTOR’S NIGHTMARE by Christopher Durang and WRITER’S BLOCK by Latin Senior Richard Baer. He says "Writing and re-writing a play as it is being rehearsed for performance has been a really insightful experience for me. Not only do I have a better understanding of what it is to revise under deadline, but I have a more immediate sense of what works, what doesn't work, and what I'm just kidding myself about when I say, "It will work." It's also been quite a challenge to write with specific limitations (i.e. actors available and length). I've had a lot of fun and I've learned more in writing for a real production than I could in any workshop."
