Jesters, knights,
a king, his queen, the wizard Merlin, and an evil sorceress and her sidekick peopled
the fifth graders' presentation of A Knight to Remember on March 1.
The assembly combined
what the students had learned throughout the winter about the Middle Ages with
humor, music, and imagination.
With the help of
their teachers the fifth graders told a fictional tale of a "retirement
party" for King Arthur of Camelot at The Latin School, incorporating aspects
of the Middle Ages they had learned about in class, including poetry, music,
romance, and courtliness.
