Reminder: Extreme Weather Procedures 1/6/2010 With winter weather in full swing, here are some reminders about Latin's procedures:
- Latin generally follows the same guidelines for school closings as the Chicago Public Schools. If the public schools are closed, Latin is closed and vice versa.
- In the case of a closing, we will alert families via e-mail as soon as possible. Please check your "Profile" on RomanNet to make sure that your e-mail address is listed and current. You will also receive an automated phone message if your phone number is listed in the "Emergency Contacts" portion of your Profile.
- You can also confirm if Latin is open or closed by checking our Web site. You will not need to log in to find this information.
- Lastly, we will report our status to the Emergency Closing Center which reports out on their Web site (http://www.emergencyclosingcenter.com/ecc/home.jsp) and on news radio stations.
