|  | Thank you to everyone who chose to be a part of Latin's Roman Holiday: Auction 2011 on March 5 at the Fairmont Hotel. As a result of the enthusiastic spirit of our community, it was a record-breaking event with more than 850 parents, alumni, faculty and staff in attendance.
Inspired by the Audrey Hepburn movie classic Roman Holiday, guests experienced the magic and excitement of 1950s Rome by walking the red carpet, bidding on more than 600 silent and 12 live auction items, enjoying a seated dinner and dancing the night away to live music from the one and only Dr. Bombay.
Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and generous supporters, the Auction successfully raised over $1 million to support Latin's academic, arts, athletics and financial aid programs. A sincere thank you to everyone that supported Auction 2011, and stay tuned for more information about Auction 2013! |
