Gold Coast Garden Walk Offered Through Live & Learn Program

Chicago - The Live & Learn Program at the The Latin School of Chicago offers a variety of adult classes, including the upcoming Gold Coast Garden Walk on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. - noon.

This guided tour will take you through some of the Gold Coast's most beautiful gardens. The tour begins at The Latin School, 59 W. North Blvd., will visit the Public Gardents in Lincoln Park, The Cardinal's Garden, and walled gardens along Dearborn and Schiller. Transportation will be provided to take participants west to Delaware Place where a landscape architect will discuss the plantings around the Newberry Library and the park across the street. The tirp will end at a rooftop garden on La Salle Street.

Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the fall colors in some of Chicago's most unique private gardens. The fee for the two-hour tour is $35.

Instructors in the Live & Learn program donate their time and rescources, and proceeds benefit the financial aid program at The Latin School of Chicago.
