Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel to Speak At The Latin School
Chicago - Nobel Peace Prize winner and Boston University Professor Elie Wiesel
has worked on behalf of oppressed people for much of his adult life. he will
share his personal experience of the Holocaust with students at The Latin School
on Wednesday, October 20. From 7-8 p.m., Wiesel will speak to parents, students,
and others in the Latin community.
There are no seats available for the presentation by Wiesel on Wednesday night
only those with tickets will be admitted to the Schools Wrigley Theatre.
No personal interviews will be permitted.
Should members
of the media want to cover Wiesels presentation, On the Threshold
of the 21st Century, they will have to stop first at the media desk and
then stand at the back of the filled Wrigley Theatre.
Wiesel's visit coincides with Latin's observance of the 20th anniversary of the Nazi Mind class's Nuremberg Trial simulations.
