Live & Learn

Farewell to Live & Learn
After 34 wonderful years of Live & Learn, fall 2007 was the final semester for this very special program. The decision was a difficult one and required a great deal of consideration. We wish to thank the instructors, students, and the parent volunteers who made Live & Learn such a tremendous success. Your generous support of the program and The Latin School of Chicago brought exciting and unique educational opportunities to adults throughout the greater Chicagoland area. We will miss you and wish you all the best.

Live & Learn wants to extend a special thank you to all the parent volunteers who distributed catalogues and monitored classes during our final semester. Thank you to our long-time volunteers Angela Konishi and Rozanne Levin for their hard work in organizing classes for the program. Special appreciation, too, to our Volunteer Coordinator, Neeta Demeulenaere, and our Distribution Chair, Scott Trotter. Thank you to the entire Latin School community that has supported the program for the last 34 years.

Fall 2007 Live and Learn Live & Learn was an adult education program coordinated by The Latin School of Chicago. More than 700 courses were offered to approximately 6,000 students each year in four different sessions, with more than 250 classes offered uring the larger fall and spring sessions. Exciting evening and weekend classes offered instruction on everything from cooking to rollerblading and personal finance to languages.

Funds raised by the Live & Learn program helped to support financial aid and faculty grant programs.
