Did You Know Spring/Summer 2006
This issue of “Did You Know?” includes just some of the exciting activities Latin students were involved in outside the classroom during the spring of 2006. Did You Know?
Spring 2006
When they are not in the classroom, Latin students are busy pursuing a variety of exciting interests and activities individually and in groups. Did you know, for instance, that students have traveled to Boston to present findings from their research projects, won national music and international photo awards, danced professional ballet productions, and participated in the Illinois State Geographic Bee? Did You Know?
Fall 2004
In addition to pursuing excellence in the classroom, Latin students of all ages are making their mark in sports, the arts, and their community outside of school as well. Did you know, for instance, that our students participate in national tennis tournaments, compete in triathlons, exhibit their artwork at galleries, perform on the Chicago stage, and in distinguished orchestral groups? Did you know, for instance, that students have traveled to Springfield to be part of a program on Democracy, auditioned for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, received special recognition for their psychology research, participated in the Illinois state Geographic Bee, and traveled to Europe and South America to play soccer?
