Latin was one of 56 non-profit organizations invited to participate in the 88th PGA Championship's Community Relations Program during the week of August 14 - 20, 2006. The Community Relations Program began in 2000.
Latin's golf team at the PGA championship community relations clinic

Several members of the golf team took advantage of the wonderful opportunity, along with coaches Jan Wilson and Robert Anderson, and about 500 other area youth. They participated in the Youth Golf Clinic at Cantigny Golf Course in Wheaton, Illinois, and in the Community Day at Medinah Country Club.

Illinois PGA professionals conducted a golf clinic and each participant had one-on-one time with the professionals.

Our golfers went home with expert advice, invaluable experience, PGA Championship T-shirts and hats, and a great story to tell!
