Our trip to the Grand Canyon...
We met our guide at 9 a.m. and were on a 1.5 mile hike by 9:30 a.m. We walked down a
beautiful trail called Kaibab Trail. The first half mile was icy, muddy, snowy and
steep... in another word, FUN! We made it to a great scenic overlook and took a group picture. We spent the day touring the Grand Canyon’s southern rim and really enjoyed the scenery and the day. Back to Best Friends on Thursday and Friday when we finally get to meet all the dogs and cats! I’m sure we will be cleaning, but we will also get to socialize with the animals and we can’t wait!
