We will travel to China to volunteer in an orphanage. Volunteer work will include daily care for babies and young children, as well as general maintenance work in the
orphanage. Afternoons, evenings, and weekend days will be devoted to sightseeing in Beijing, including important
historical sites such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Jade Buddha Temple, Tiananmen Square,
and the Great Wall.

All is well in Beijing.
We have just arrived, and the kids are settling into their rooms and cleaning up for a walk to the night market for dinner. Our flight was long but uneventful. Everyone is in good spirits and ready to get out on the street. We begin our work early tomorrow at the orphange. Look for pictures!
