Today we read favorite children's books, thought about what makes a good picture book, and began designing our books.

Tuesday, 3/15/05
Today we worked on our books and watched the film version of Roald Dahl's "The Witches." Some group members spent the afternoon photographing pets.

Wednesday, 3/16/05
Today we ransacked The Art Store for supplies and began making the final "dummies" of our books. Here are some examples of our early pages (see photos below).

Thursday, 3/17/05
Today we worked on our books--some people are almost finished. Most of the group watched "The Incredibles" in the afternoon.
