Hello parents and friends!
We have seen many beautiful sites and people in the center of Firenze!
How you would love it- the speed of Paris and the emotional drama of the deep South.
Our first day we had a great flight and enjoyed a long Italian meal as a group!
Our second day was Boboli
Gardens and the interior of the Duomo. Drawing and more drawing. Today we went to the Museum of Natural History and saw the famous collection of wax
anatomy models.
We went to the exterior of Duomo this afternoon, met with alumna Lyndsay DeLee
for a spot of drawing in the midday sunshine. After that we went to Zechhi Art
Supply store. At night the Palazzo
de Uffizzi and did night drawing with toned paper. The students have already
shown improvement in their drawing skills, and critiquing happens every night!
