Monday, 3/14/05
Well today was quite the day. The boys were asleep till almost noon!! Mrs. Gehret and I were up at about 10:30 and walked around the grounds looking for others. Finally the boys woke up and we had some down time. The boys started an intense game of Astronomy Monopoly with Mrs. Gehret that has been going all day now.

We learned about the telescopes in the many domes that live here and got to see the internet telescopes. That was very entertaining, however, it was also the beginning of bad weather. The clouds just kept coming and it got colder and colder. We kept on hoping it would pass with time and we could observe later on tonight.

Dinner was excellent -- spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. Nick was an outstanding cook. During dinner, though, we learned that we were not going to observe tonight due to weather. So here we are watching the intense game of monopoly continue.

Hope all goes well tomorrow and we can observe.
