Day 6, March 13-14, 2003

Our final day in New Mexico was slow. We did not know what the weather would be. But after a delicious dinner of omelets, cooked by Chris, we all headed to the library to see what the weather was. We learned that the whole night would be cloudy, with no chance for images. So we all processed our last images and enjoyed delicious chocolate banana cappucinos. After this, we went to bed early, around midnight.

This trip was great because of the people. Our group was all interested in astronomy, and eager to learn. We also had the uncanny ability to stay up until 6 a.m.

So I would like to thank Dan, for his infinite Trekkie knowledge. Chris, for arguing with Dan and making delicous omelets. Mina, for knowing everything about what we were doing and 4,5,6,7. Rissman for Mac and Cheese. And Rafael for being the glue that held us together (and kept us civilized). I would also like to thank Ms. Gehret and Dr. Winters for being great chaperones and for the Physics Bear.
So, now I will go to sleep, because if I don't, Chris will beat me to the shower.
