"...we
all got to sit in the floor of the House of Representatives! That was
so cool! They let us vote and speak into the microphones. The chairs were
the most comfortable chairs I've ever been in!"

"I
was amazed! I stood in one of the most beautiful, one of the biggest buildings
I had ever been in. It had glittery crystal chandeliers, painted ceilings
and columns with flowers, leaves, blocks, and horns. I was in the new
state capitol building...our first stop of the day."
Melanie
"First
we went to the state capitol building and Michael Madigan gave us a speech.
I learned a lot about how bills were passed."
