Our
group traveled to the southwestern United States to experience the dark,
unpolluted skies of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Using the New
Mexico Skies Amateur Astronomy Guest Observatory as our home base,
we are hoping to learn how to use a variety of astronomical equipment
to find, observe, and image the Moon, planets, star clusters, galaxies,
and nebulae. We will visit the Very
Large Array close to Socorro, NM. Read our journal entries to find
out how our research is contributing to a broader data set, and the exciting
discoveries we are making.
