Lower School: Curriculum: Physical Education

"We encourage children to be courageous as they explore physical activities, have fun, and play as if no one were watching."
— A Lower School Physical Education Teacher
Whether it is learning how to do a cartwheel on our rooftop playground, kicking a soccer ball in our gym or nearby Lincoln Park, or swimming in The Latin School pool, Lower School children are introduced to many activities that develop their motor development, coordination, and basic fitness. Sportsmanship and fair play are key values of this program.
