From September 15 - October 15, the Latin community celebrated Hispanic heritage month in many different ways!
Lower school students presented a fun video featuring photos of Latin families of Hispanic descent at their Hispanic Heritage month assembly. Students also spoke about their cultural and family traditions.
Middle school also held a Hispanic Heritage Month assembly where students and teachers spoke about what their heritage means to them.
In the upper school, members of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) hosted a talent show open to students from Latin School, Francis W. Parker, Hubbard High School, Lane Tech College Prep, Whitney Young HS and Walter Payton College Prep. Many talents filled Wrigley Theatre on Friday, October 13, including poetry readings, dancing and singing.
